Three Items To Keep In Your Car When You Are Committed To Getting Healthy

You may be surprised at the amount of time that you spend inside of your car each day. Whether it is to get to and from work, run errands, go grocery shopping, or just to do something that you need to do around town, you may spend several hours in your vehicle a day. You will also find it easy to put pull up your car to the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant. When you are trying to get into better shape and eat healthy on the go, you will need to plan out your snacks and meals. Here are some food and snacks to keep in your vehicle to aid your commitment to health.

Protein powder

Gluten-free bone broth collagen protein powder is a good supplement to keep inside of your car. You can use this to make shakes on the go if you purchase a single size milk from the store or if you even just have water. If you bring water along with you in the back of your car, you can add protein powder to the water bottles to make for an easy to grab a snack. As long as you store the protein powder bottles inside of an insulated bag away from the light, these will last long term and can provide a snack that you can make and drink while in your car.

Stock all-natural snack bars

All natural snack and protein bars are an excellent addition to make to your vehicle. If you have a small lunch sack or a small insulated cooler sack, you can sit snack bars inside of the bag on the floor of your car. Simply reach to your passenger side floor or reach into the backseat to grab one of these when you are hungry. Along with snack bars, include a few meal replacement bars. If you forget your lunch or if you have to be out too long, you will be able to eat a meal replacement bar a proper fuel. This will keep you from stopping at a food store and filling up on bad foods, which will ruin your diet for the day.

Take fruit leather

If you tend to have a sweet tooth and stop at a gas station for candy, taking something sweet inside of the car is a good idea. Purchase or make fruit leather. Fruit leather can be made with dehydrated fruit. These will be sweet and can replace candy. Keep these inside of a cooling bag and take them out when you want a dessert or when your sweet tooth is getting the best of you.
